STOP CLAPPING FOR THOSE WHO NEEDS DISCIPLINE

The purpose of discipline is to correct errors in the society or the body of Christ. As Christians your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 2:3-4 KJV Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

[4] No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
Discipline is the bedrock of any military institutions. Don't forget we are soldiers of Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:18-20 KJV Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. [19] What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? [20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

You can't impregnate a sister in church and you are leading praise worship in church while the sister is sitting at home in shame. Discipline is part of the church from the beginning and it will be there until Christ returns . Unconfessed sins weakens our fellowship. Open rebuke is still part of Christianity. When a brother or a sister do something wrong the church should be able to discipline such a one so that others may learn.

1 Corinthians 5:11 KJV But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
Any church that discipline is a strong church. Any church where there is no sign of discipline is weak. God discipline those he loves.

Proverbs 3:11-12 KJV My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord ; neither be weary of his correction: [12] For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Proverbs 13:24 KJV He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Hebrews 12:5-11 KJV And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: [6] For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. [7] If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? [8] But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. [9] Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? [10] For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. [11] Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby."
